DataDemon Agent v0.2.24 — Pi 4 discovery Preview
This Linux ARM64 canary is for qualification on Raspberry Pi 4 with Debian 13 and 64-bit userspace. Stable qualification, Pi 3/5 and physical serial, printer and GPIO support remain open.
Changes
- HTTP and TCP inventory share one fresh scan of local listeners in each inventory round. This avoids duplicate discovery work while keeping the scan cadence and exact resource checks. No listener snapshot survives its round.
- Stable qualification now checks that the kernel enforces each service's configured memory limit. A configured systemd limit alone cannot pass.
- The v0.2.23 native update, rollback, reinstall and recovery results are recorded separately. That candidate exceeded the idle CPU gate and ran on a host with disabled memory protection; those failures remain recorded.
Update
Inspect ddemon update --channel canary --json, then explicitly
run ddemon update apply --channel canary. The DEB updater retains
one verified predecessor for ddemon update rollback. Installation
restarts the services and briefly interrupts active connections.
Trust
The release and TUF metadata are DataDemon signed. There is no signed APT or RPM repository. RPM installation is manual. macOS is not Developer ID notarized and Windows is not Authenticode signed. No package feed availability or completed Pi stable qualification is claimed.
